I remember when my kids were really little they loved watching the same DVD over and over in the car. At home, it was the same episode of a tv show over and over again. I still have so many songs from those movies and shows that will forever be in my head. We had to read the same books every night. I remember thinking “I don't think I can listen to this again or read this book again. We need to switch it up." But they were never interested in a different option. It had to be the same DVD in the car. It had to be the same books read at night in the same order.
So much yes! I’ve heard/read that about the repetitive shows too. And it’s true. Kids need constancy.
